BUSS(Q) understands that members have different views about the way they would like to see their super savings invested.  That is why BUSS(Q) lets you choose an investment strategy that will best suit your investment style.

You can choose to invest 100% in only one of the following investment options or you can mix and match them to suit your investment objectives, time frame and tolerance for risk.  Importantly, you are not tied down to one investment strategy.  The choice is yours.

PRE MIXED OPTIONS representing preset investment strategies are:

• Defensive
• Balanced Growth
• High Growth

CHOOSE YOUR OWN INVESTMENT MIX OPTIONS allow you to build your own investment strategy:

• Cash
• Australian Shares
• International Shares - unhedged
• Diversified Fixed Interest

Please note that Australian Shares, International Share - unhedged and Diversified Fixed Interest are only available with the Pension and Personal Plan Products.

You can change your strategy as your financial or personal circumstances change and there is no cost to do so.

You don't have to make an investment choice when you join; your super will automatically be invested in the default option, Balanced Growth.  Of course, this doesn't mean you are locked into the default option forever.  You have the flexibility to choose your own investment options at a later time if you wish.

Remember that you don't have to make investment decisions on your own. BUSS(Q) offers members financial advice about their super at no extra cost (as the cost for advice is included in the BUSS(Q) administration fees).
