Australian Large Companies Shares closure - BUSSQ

Australian Large Companies Shares closure

Following an extensive investment option review which included member surveys and feedback, BUSSQ has decided to close the Australian (Large Company) Shares Companies investment option.

The Australian (Large Company) Shares investment option is very similar to our Australian Shares option which contains 80% of large company shares within the portfolio.  The returns between the two investment options are also very similar with a slight outperformance shown by our Australian Shares option.

Annual market update 30 une 2018

The fees on the Australian Shares option are also similar to those on the Australian (Large Company) Shares option.

investment options

The Australian (Large Company) Shares investment option will be closed to new money and contributions effective 1 November 2018.  Should you wish to change your investment options prior to this closure date, you can contact us on 1800 MY BUSSQ (1800 69 2877) and we can assist you over the phone. Alternatively, you can submit an investment switch online via MemberAccess or complete an investment switch form.

If you choose not to perform an investment switch and have any funds invested within the Australian (Large Company) Shares investment option, those funds will be automatically switched into Australian Shares effective 7th November 2018.

We believe this change to be in our members best interest due to this option having low usage and removing the option will generate savings which will be returned to you in the form of better returns and lower fees.
