You are here:
Beginning 1 March 2017, the definition to Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) will be changing.
See the new TPD definition here.
See other definitions referred to in the changes to insurance communications:
Other new definitions effective 1 March 2017
Specific Medical Condition for TPD Definition 3
The change to the definitions means there will be a small 3.5% increase on our Death and TPD premiums effective 1 March 2017. It’s important to remember that we have not had an increase on our insurance cover since 1 January 2014. On average for a manual worker with default cover of four units, this will mean an increase of 24 cents per week.
The new insurance costs of insurance cover are as follows:
Unitised cover premiums effective 1 March 2017
Fixed dollar cover premiums effective 1 March 2017
